LXXXI Quareia: The Magician’s Deck
The latest purchase from The Gamecrafter; this 81 card deck is an outgrowth of an extensive free online magic course. The deck’s sales page at The Gamecrafter does specify the deck’s origin; while stating that many folks are using it in their own way. After viewing the 15+ cards displayed there, I decided to order it.
A more thoughtful (or at least, longer) review of this deck will be much slower in coming than my other recent purchases. Over the next few months I’ll be exploring the courses at Quareia.com. The Study Guide for the free series of courses mentions the ancient Egyptian concept of ‘ma-at‘ -my earlier spiritual practice domain name included that word. While it appears to use plenty of ancient Egyptian cultural references, it does seem to draw on a diverse range of traditions.
